Fish Hand Bag

Inspired by tinned fish and sardine illustrations, this sewing pattern will show you how to make a fish shaped hand bag with a detachable bag strap.

The finished bag will be approx 15 x 8 x 4 inches.

To make this bag you will need:

- 1/2 yard (or 50cm) of outer fabric

- 1/2 yard (or 50cm) of interfacing

- 1/2 yard (or 50cm) of lining fabric

- thread

- 4 pages of home printer paper

- tape

optional:

- 118 inches (or 300cm) of bias tape

- 2 x hook buckles, carabiners or bag clips

Recommended fabrics:

- Canvas

- Twill

- Denim

- Tweed

- Felt

- Upholstery Fabrics

- Outdoor Fabrics

* If you are using very thick fabric, you may not need the added structure of the interfacing layer and can skip it.

This sewing pattern comes with written instructions.

Arlette Patterns are designed to easily be printed at home on A4 paper or US Letter Paper.

The Fish Hand Bag will only require 4 sheets of standard home printer paper.
